THE BASICS
MI Fest (mi • fest \ mÄ« – fest \ noun : an outdoor music + camping experience featuring the best of Michigan’s music, food, art and industry) to be held Saturday, September 17, 2011, on the lush grounds of Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Camping options, one price adult admission tickets, kids 12 and under free general admission tickets*, our convenient re-entry policy and a great fall outdoor setting are all signature components of MI Fest.
Rain or Shine. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
Ticket is for MI Fest in general, and not for a specific artist. Artists and the schedule are subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation or inclement weather is not grounds for refund. The ticket is a revocable license for the time and date listed on the ticket.
MI Fest Wristbands should arrive no later than September 5th, 2011. If not received by that date you can contact Michigan International Speedway Box Office at 1-800-354-1010.
*Kids tickets must be purchased by calling 800-354-1010
GATE POLICY
The gate admissions policy outlines what you may bring into the MI Fest event area. The policy balances fan safety, comfort and experience. Please review the policy and plan accordingly.
Fans may enter MI Fest event areas with:

Soft sided coolers no larger than 10”x 10” x 12” (includes food only, no beverages)
-
Soft Sided Coolers may contain ice, freezer packs and a removable plastic liner.

Soft sided bags no larger than 18” x 18” x 4”.
-
Soft Sided Bags may include camera bags, purses, fanny packs, daypacks, lightweight backpacks, eco-friendly type grocery bags, canvas tote bags, clear bags, bags with souvenir purchases.

Picnic baskets with food in non-glass containers
NOTE: Guests are allowed to bring in any combination of no more than two total of the items described above
Additionally, fans are welcome to bring:

Binoculars, headsets, and single body cameras which are worn separately and not in their case.

Plastic souvenir and insulated cups no larger than 24 oz.

Beach and sand canvas chairs (short legs and back, 26 in. height maximum)
-
Blankets, sleeping bags and tarps
-
Umbrellas (patio/beach umbrellas that stick into the ground are prohibited)

Strollers
All Items brought through the Admission Gates are subject to inspection.
Guests without any carry-in items are encouraged to use the express lanes available at each gate.
Fans may not enter MI Fest areas with:

Alcoholic Beverages
-
Long-legged lawn chairs
-
Bottles, cans or any liquid containers of any kind including water and pop (juice boxes may be allowed)

Hard-sided coolers.

Thermoses and metal cups of any size.
-
Glass containers, strollers, umbrellas, bicycles, roller blades, pets, banners, signs or flags.
-
Any bag, pack or container larger than the allowable sizes.
-
Firearms, knives, fireworks and items restricted by local, state or federal laws.

Video and sound recording devices

Aerosol Cans
There will be no provisions for checking and holding items deemed inappropriate. Restricted items may not be left at or around the gate area. Items left unattended will be removed and discarded.
Changes in security levels may affect security procedures at MI Fest including the prohibition of all bags and items inside the grandstand gates.
THE LEGAL STUFF
"Management" means MI Fest LLC, and its managers, members and affiliates. Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, local, state or federal law, who damages the facility or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by Management. Persons entering the facility are subject to search for illegal contraband, substances and weapons. Ticket user assumes all risks of property loss and personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during or after the event. Ticket user agrees that all employees, agents, officers and directors of Management and of Michigan International Speedway, Inc., as well as their affiliates and subsidiaries are hereby released from any and all claims arising from the event, including claims of negligence. Ticket holder shall be responsible for all injuries caused to others and damages to the facility. Ticket holder assumes all risks, including cancellation of the event and of inclement weather. The resale or attempted resale of the ticket at a price in excess of that appearing on the ticket is prohibited and if discovered will result in the ticket being voided without refund. The ticket may not be used for advertising promotion (including contests and sweepstakes), or other trade purposes without the prior written consent of Management. Ticket user consents to Management's use of their image or likeness incidental to any photography, video display, transmission, or recording of the event. Management is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought onto the premises. No video, flash photography or professional cameras are allowed.
